Audience
This learning object project is geared towards multimedia distance learners. Colleges around the world are using blogs as an instructional tool that can reach the diverse lifestyles of students. It is also our intention to reach as many online learners as possible.
Rational
Blogs are an essential tool in today's world especially in education. Using such a platform in education allows students and faculty an opportunity to create a meaningful online learning environment. Using this type of social software also gives the user a creative atmosphere that allows for exploration, sharing, gaining insight, and the ability to sharpen critical thinking. Around the world students are able to create reflective journals and teachers are using guided reflective applications to facilitate instruction. Blogs and other types of media are key elements in today's education and is a wonderful resource for today's learners.

Form into project teams consisting of 3 members: Pua, Sava, and Susan
Brainstorm with team members on the topic and content: Blogs or video blogs
Decide on media format (i.e., Narrated Powerpoint, html, Flash): Asked professor if we could use the blog itself as the learning object to talk about blogging.
Identify software tools and hardware needed to develop learning object: Free blogging site on the web.
